ESGE Individual Memberships
If you are a physician with formal training in gastroenterology, surgery or internal medicine you are entitled to ESGE Individual Membership. Industry representatives are currently not eligible for membership to ESGE.
€ 120* - Taster Individual Membership fee (new members only), for the term beginning in the second part of the year and ending on December 31.
Discounted fee is available as of June 1 to new members and in their first year of membership only. This discount will be applied automatically to a new member.
In the second year of membership, the standard annual membership fee will apply.
€ 195* - Individual Membership annual standard fee (renewing members), for the term beginning on January 1 and ending on December 31.
*Taster and Standard Membership will be renewed automatically between November - December 16, until you cancel the automated payment.
Through the ESGE Dual Membership Programme (DMP), members of the national ESGE Member Societies (listed in the table below) are eligible for the ESGE Individual Membership at a reduced annual fee. Please check if your national society participates in this programme and whether you should join or renew through ESGE or through your national society.

If you are a postgraduate full-time trainee/resident in gastroenterology and/or surgery and/or internal medicine and employed in a clinical unit that undertakes digestive endoscopy you are entitled to ESGE Trainee Membership.
Trainee membership is limited to five years. Applicant needs to provide a proof of trainee status when applying.
€ 90* – Trainee Membership standard annual fee for the term beginning on January 1 and ending on December 31.

Required documents
Letter of confirmation signed by a program director of the training institution, confirming the candidate’s full-time trainee status. The confirmation letter should be issued up to three months before submission.
If you are a nurse or associate working in gastroenterology and/or endoscopy nursing and you are an ESGENA member, you are entitled to ESGE Individual Membership via the ESGENA/ESGE Joint Membership Programme.
This offer does not apply to doctors or representatives of the industry or other partners.
To apply for Individual Membership as an ESGENA nurse you must be a member of ESGENA already. If you are not an ESGENA member yet, please visit the ESGENA website first.
