Academy Working Group

In April 2024 the ESGE Academy, has been launched. The aim of the ESGE Academy was to create the ‘go-to’ resource for Endoscopy Education. The ESGE Academy is an extensive library filled with the best of ESGE material, offering a personalised experience, tailored to the needs and requirements of our members with interactive educational opportunities.

Curricula Working Group

Our aim is to develop and publish a curriculum of minimum standards of training for specific advanced gastrointestinal endoscopic procedures that require additional training beyond the core endoscopy curriculum provided in each country.

Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Working Group

Our aims are to ensure adequate representation in all aspects of ESGE activities of under-represented members of ESGE as defined by gender, race, religion, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity or disability.

Green Endoscopy Working Group

The objectives are to promote environmental awareness and sustainability in GI endoscopy, with a focus on achieving net-zero status for ESGE, providing guidance, fostering research and education, and collaborating with industry and policymakers.

Membership Working Group

To increase individual membership in the ESGE, both through IM mechanism and through the “dual membership” program, and to expand and improve ESGE membership benefits.

Publication Working Group

Our aim is to oversee and align all ESGE-related publication efforts across committees to ensure consistency and synergy; and to define and maintain general instructions for authors contributing to ESGE publications.

Social Media Working Group

The goals include enhancing ESGE's presence on global social media, utilizing it for disseminating updates, responding to endoscopy-related discussions, and promoting ESGE courses.
