Basic and Advanced Resection for early GI Neoplasia Course 2026
SUMMARY
The course is designed to enhance cognitive and technical competence in the management of early GI neoplasias. The theoretical part will cover the detection, characterization, and delineation of early lesions in the upper and lower tracts.
Educational methods:
- Training by a stellar faculty
- Interactive lectures
- Intensive Hands-on training (7.5 hours, 1 trainer for 2 trainees, ex-vivo and in-vivo models)
- Transmission of live cases from the Evangelische Krankenhaus Düsseldorf, Germany
- Video case marathon
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
- To evaluate recent advances in diagnostic endoscopy in GI oncology
- To choose the optimal approach for the treatment of early GI neoplasia
- To increase your technical skills in resection and tunneling techniques
- To manage failures and adverse events
- To highlight the importance of an interdisciplinary approach
