The ESGE Education committee offers every year the opportunity to young endoscopists below fourty years old to train with experts at officially recognised ESGE training centres.


The ESGE Guidelines committee monitors state-of-the-art procedures and techniques in various endoscopy related areas and publishes relevant guidelines and recommendations.

About ESGE

The European Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ESGE) represents national societies of endoscopy in Europe, the Mediterranean and North Africa. ESGE is comprised of 49 gastrointestinal societies (ESGE Member Societies) and individual members.

The purpose of ESGE is, by any appropriate mean, to improve the quality of gastrointestinal endoscopy, to promote awareness, teaching and research in gastrointestinal endoscopy and related fields and to stimulate international exchange of endoscopy data and technical advances
