ESGE Dual Membership

In 2008, Dual Membership was initiated and the first member society to cooperate with ESGE was the Belgian Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (BSGIE). As of 2019, ESGE and 20 societies share dual membership cooperation.

Member Society Benefits

  • The annual national society membership fee is waived if more than 20 members join ESGE as Individual Members
  • Permission to translate ESGE guidelines in coordination with ESGE
  • Involvement of your society members on ESGE guideline sub-committees
  • Additional presence of your society at UEG Week through visibility at the ESGE Learning Area
  • Distribution of your society flyers / brochures at ESGE booths
  • Distribution of your society's current events or any updates in national society leadership via the ESGE e-Newsletter and via the ESGE newsletter in the journal Endoscopy
  • Posting your national society congresses / workshops on the ESGE events calendar ESGE e-Newsletter and via the ESGE newsletter in the journal Endoscopy

ESGE Individual Membership benefits

  • Reduced ESGE annual membership dues
  • Substantially reduced registration fee for ESGE organized events
  • 20% registration fee reduction to ESGE endorsed workshops
  • ESGE eLearning FREE of charge
  • Eligibility for ESGE Fellowship grants: Available to members under 40 years of age. This program includes not only basic endoscopy training but also hands-on training at ESGE host units
  • Eligibility for ESGE Research grants
  • ESGE Research activities: Members are encouraged to take part in research projects
  • ESGE Guidelines: Members are regularly updated on ongoing guidelines and those interested are encouraged to be actively involved
  • Access to the members’ only area of the ESGE website
