Between the 4th and 6th of April, Prague was the place to be for all endoscopists! It was from a spectacular panoramic view over the city that the ESGE Young Endoscopists (EYE) working group organized another EYE Zone during ESGE Days 2019.
In a spacious, but cozy room, young endoscopists or those just young at heart were able to get to know each other, share ideas and projects, and participate in different motivating and inspiring talks with expert endoscopists. Sessions about developing endoscopic research, training in endoscopy, or applying for ESGE grants were some of the topics that the EYE Group prepared for the EYE Zone attendees.
We also took the first steps in bringing together young endoscopist sections of national endoscopic societies from different countries, and a kick-off meeting between the EYE Group members and representatives from Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, and the United Kingdom was held during the ESGE Days 2019.
More activities for young endoscopists are planned to be announced soon, so keep an EYE out!
