The JFHOD, Journées Francophones d’Hépato-gastroentérologie et d’Oncologie Digestive, is the French-speaking congress of reference for diseases and cancers of the digestive system and the second European congress of the specialty in terms of attendance.
Reserved for health professionals, the JFHODs bring together more than 5,000 participants each year from around sixty countries, including more than 4,000 delegates (hepato-gastroenterologists and oncologists, but also digestive surgeons, pediatric gastroenterologists, researchers, radiologists, internists , biologists, pathologists, general practitioners, interns, medical students, etc.), nearly 200 nurses from GIFE and more than 800 exhibitors.
At each edition, a theme close to hepato-gastroenterology and digestive oncology is highlighted, a French-speaking country and a European learned society are invited.
Theme and guests in 2023
- The theme will be physical activity
- The French-speaking guest country will be Switzerland represented by the SSG, Swiss Society of Gastroenterology
- The European learned society will be the ESNM, European Society of Neurogastroenterology and Motility
