ESGE Individual Members and registered events participants’ personally identifiable information is kept secure. Only authorised employees and contractors (who have agreed to keep information secure and confidential) have access to this information.

ESGE does not release, sell or grant permission for the use of personal information to any outside the organization. Contact information is solely for the use of the ESGE. Once consent is provided, it will remain in effect until a change in notification is made to the ESGE.

Terms and conditions

1. ESGE Individual Membership

Individual Membership fees
The annual fee for ESGE Standard Individual Membership and ESGE Trainee Individual Membership fee is valid for the term beginning on January 1 and ending on December 31 of the current year. ESGE offers a reduced fee for standard Individual Members joining in a later quarter of the year.

Cancellations and Refund Policy
ESGE Individual Membership termination is possible with written notice, received by the ESGE secretariat by October 1 of the membership year. If the membership is not terminated by October 1 of the membership year, it will automatically be extended for a further year. The annual Individual Membership fee for the following year will fall due and no refund will be given.

Online application may be withdrawn within 14 days from the application submission date. Written notice is required. In such cases credit card and bank transfer payments will be reimbursed. After this date, reimbursement is not possible.

2. Event registration

Cancellations and refund policy
Online registration payment for ESGE events must be received minimum 5 days prior to the event to ensure that registration is confirmed. Participants who pay within the five days prior to the event must bring a copy of their bank remittance to the conference counter.

Notice of cancellation must be sent in writing to the ESGE Secretariat. Payment will be refunded if cancellation is received 25 days prior the event. In such cases, a handling charge of €50 applies. Cancellations made within 25 days of the event will not be refunded.

Changes to the Congress programme
In the event of cancellations by speakers or other changes in the main conference programme, no refund of the registration fee can be made.
