ESGE Patient Relations Working Group
About us
The aim of this working group is to provide European patients organisations and bodies involved in patient care with a solid platform to express their expectations in solidarity with the professional organisations and afford ESGE direct insight into the issues and challenges faced by patients with GI diseases. This may have special potential in specific illness such as cancer, IBD or celiac disease.
Aims
- To present the patients’ point of view to the ESGE governing board on how ESGE’s vision and purpose may be better met.
- Enhance education for the patient and improve understanding of patient issues for healthcare professionals.
