ESGE Travelling Tutor Programme
The European Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy has been organising and supporting live demonstration endoscopy events for a number of years. In 2006 the "ESGE Travelling Tutors" programme was initiated as an adjunct to this highly successful activity. The idea behind this programme is to offer ESGE expertise (one doctor and one nurse) on site at various hospitals in a region for a week. This enables a teaching environment within the context of real life in the region, and will be used to highlight and discuss issues less relevant in a live demonstration setting.
