    Meet-the-expert: Problem based learning
  • Event aims: The first day in the morning we have two workshops, the first one a live workshop on ecoendoscopy, and the second a workshop, with one computer per attendant in order to learn how to perform a colon capsule. That same morning we also have a Symposium about how to imporve the quality of the colonoscopy.
The aim of the course is to show, using video-tapes, how to perform different therapeutic endoscopic techniques. As they are recorded cases it is possible to show in a short time two or three examples of each technique, focusing on the specific details which allow the desired result to be reached.
At the end of each session the results obtained with the different techniques will be briefly presented. When the cases offer several possibilities, a discussion will be held in order to decide which is the best for each specific case. Attendants will be given the opportunity to discuss with the experts the aspects of the different techniques which most interest them.
We believe the subjects presented to be some of the most up to date topics in therapeutic endoscopy nowadays. Considering the prestige of the endoscopists invited in the panels, we hope that every attendant will find great profit in this course.
